Question about “To Be a King”

This serial isn’t getting much attention. It didn’t appeal to me all that much, but then some of the other stories that don’t please me personally have appealed to others. I posted with that possibility in mind.

Fiction readers: Should I go on posting “To Be a King” on the regular schedule, or would you rather move on to another serial? (I would post all of the remaining installments anyway, for the few who are enjoying it — in which case would you prefer them all to be posted in a lump, or do you still enjoy having them spread out in a way reminiscent of how they were originally published?)

  1. It’s not holding my attention…not sure why. Do whatever’s easier for you, and thank you!

  2. They’re already typed, both the rest of this serial and the next one up, so it’s all easy for me.

  3. I’ve been reading it…. wanting to find out what comes next, but probably because I’ve been sick.

  4. Sister in town, etc. I’ve barely looked at the internet, so no idea, although the first paragraph of the first part didn’t grab me.

  5. I’ll post the rest of the chapters, but we’ll have the first installment of a new serial on Wednesday afternoon.

  6. Sorry, just saw your second question about whether to post all the remaining instalments at once or not – at once would be great.

  7. I just scheduled the first part of a new serial to post tomorrow. Other installments of “To Be a King” will post as previously scheduled tomorrow and Friday, then I’ll post the remaining installments all at once on Saturday. (That way, more significant current posts won’t be buried under a pile of fiction chapters. If you like the Saturday jokes, you’ll look for them no matter how deeply they might be buried. 🙂 )

  8. I’m sorry I couldn’t get more excited about this one. I really hate to be a serial killer.
