The scattered Saints of 1908 bear their testimonies —

With joy I acknowledge my relation to God through “Mormonism.” Continued blessings through prayer and obedience have convinced me that the Book of Mormon is His word, which the Prophet Joseph Smith was foreordained to unfold, for the establishment of the Kingdom which our Father taught us to pray for; not an earthy kingdom, but one in which His will is done on earth. – Mrs. V.W. Morgan, Canada.

Dear brethren, and all that will read this: I can truly say that the gospel taught by the Latter-day Saints is true, and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I do know for a surety that this gospel has been revealed to earth in these the latter days for the salvation of men. – S.J. Lewis, Hoxie, Ark.

—

We believe Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and upon investigation find all that has been done to persecute “Mormons” is in fulfillment of prophecies found in the Bible. This gospel was first declared to us two years ago by Elders Joseph P. Welch and Thomas Adair. Our intention is to be baptized at the first seasonable opportunity. We desire the prayers of the Saints. – Mr. and Mrs. F.C. Nickle, Ark.

California.

I desire to add my testimony to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ as restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that it is true for I have proved it. I know there is a God who is willing to answer the prayers of the least of His children. The scriptures say, “Seek and ye shall find.” I did so and found the true and everlasting gospel. – J.O. Samson, Cal.

If my humble testimony can do any good, I am glad to give it. I am proud I am a “Mormon.” When I heard the “Mormons” preach I did as James says: “If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of Go, and ask in faith, and it will be given him.” That is why I am a “Mormon.” I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and I would give my life before I would deny it. – J.B. Spiry, Ga.

I wish to bear my testimony that this is the Church of Jesus Christ. The good book tells us that he who will do the will of the Father shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of man or of God.
