Alzina Loveland Higginson, 35, Hatch, Idaho, was married in the Salt Lake Temple. She died of influenza 26 Oct 1918, and was survived by husband and 6 children. A son who was born the day Alzina died did not survive. “She loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

Charles LeRoy Porter, 30, of Montpelier, Idaho; missionary to Great Britain and a YMMIA worker. He died at Camp Dix, New Jersey, of influenza while in military service. Officers sent word of his “cheerful disposition and lovable character.” Survived by wife Nellie.

William Arthur Stanger, 44, Twin Falls, Idaho, was baptized 1897. A laboring man, he died of influenza and pneumonia 31 Oct 1918, survived by wife Cordelia and four children. He was buried at his former home in Weber County, Utah.

Earl Young McKee, 39, Ruth, Nevada, baptized 1889. He was working as an assayer in the mines of White Pine County, Nevada when he died of influenza 16 Nov 1918. His body was returned to his old home at Salt Lake City for burial. Survived by wife and daughter.

Docia Lott Woolf, 24, Ucon, Idaho, married in Salt Lake Temple 1912. She died of influenza at Ucon 23 Oct 1918, survived by husband and 4 sons, one of them two days old. “Docia tried so hard to nurse him and save the little one.” Baby Joseph Hyrum lived.

Clyde Bernard Christensen, 30, Wattis, Utah. A carpenter, he married in Manti Temple 1911. Died of pneumonia following influenza, 22 Nov 1918; buried at Spring City, Utah. Survived by wife Evalyn, three small sons; a daughter named Clyde Evalyn was born in May 1919.

Lorin Farwell Boyle, 30, Ogden, Utah, baptized 1896. Lorin was president of a hardware company he had incorporated two years earlier. He died of influenza 22 Nov 1918, leaving a widow, Anna. His graveside services were conducted by ward leaders.

Samuel Edmund Roundy, 29, Blackfoot, Idaho, a teamster and day laborer, married in the Salt Lake Temple 1908. He died of influenza and pneumonia 17 Oct 1918, leaving his wife Cassie and four children, with a son born a month later. He is buried at Blackfoot.
