Ellen Booth Turpin, 59, West Jordan, Utah. Born to English LDS converts, Ellen emigrated with her mother 1863. Married in the Endowment House 1881. Ellen died of influenza 14 Dec 1918; her funeral was held in the open air near the chapel. Survived by 6 children.

Frederick Worthington Halverson, 18, Salt Lake City/Oakley, Idaho, baptized 1903, attended the University of Utah as a member of its Student Army Training Corps. A “popular and esteemed young man,” Fred died of influenza, survived by parents and a younger brother.
