I am very thankful to say that I know the gospel is true, and that the Prophet Joseph Smith was an instrument in the hands of God in bringing about this great latter-day work called “Mormonism.” – Lucius P. Aaron, Gilmer, Texas.

With pleasure I embrace this opportunity of bearing my testimony to the Saints in the world. Amen. – Mrs. Willie C. Aaron, Gilmer, Texas.

I wish to bear my testimony to this latter-day work. Rupert, Kelsey, Texas.

I wish to bear my testimony to the truth of the gospel, for I know it is true, and I know that Brother Joseph Smith was a true prophet of the living God. I wish to bear my testimony to the truth of the gospel. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, and that his lawful successors to this day have been true prophets. I am glad I was permitted to come forth in this age, when the gospel has been restored to earth again. I have been healed by the elders, and have had my children healed when they were near death. I can say that it is the work of the Lord. Amen. – Mattie Dodd, Pritchett, Texas.

I am thankful for this opportunity. I know the gospel is true. It was revealed to Joseph Smith by our Heavenly Father for the salvation of mankind. This has been made known to me by the Holy Ghost, which led me from darkness to light. By it we detect truth from error. – Martha R. Aaron, Gilmer, Texas.

I can truthfully say to the honest in heart and those who are seeking for new truth, that the Latter-day Saints are the only people on this earth who have the true gospel. I do not say so because someone told me so, but because the Father in heaven has revealed this unto me. And I can say to everyone if you will only do the will of the Father you can have a testimony to the truth of the same. May the Lord guide everyone seeking the truth in the right path, is my prayer. – Sarah A. Bell, Kelsey, Texas.

Although we have announced that we could publish testimonies from scattered Saints in the missions of the United States only, and not from Saints in the Stakes of Zion, we give place to the following: “In the fore part of last December I was afflicted with a distressing pain in my back. One night while I was thus afflicted I was alone in my room and my thoughts were upon our Redeemer. I offered a silent prayer and asked for relief, when instantly a chain of light appeared above me and descended upon me. The pain left me instantly, and never returned. I wish to bear testimony that the same power that was upon the earth in the days of our Savior is upon the earth today. – Sarah Burr, aged 87, Burrville, Utah.
West Virginia.

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints fourteen years. Space will not allow all of my testimony at this time. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, just the same as I know that Jesus is the Son of God. I pray for everyone to have the same blessing. – Mrs. S.P. Smith, Calhoun, Ala.

I know the gospel is true. About eight years ago my mother became very sick. We wrote for the elders and they came. They told her if she would be baptized she should be healed. She and father were baptized and she was instantly healed. I know it was by the gift and power of God. The rest of my brothers and sisters were baptized and received a testimony. I can say that Joseph Smith was a prophet through whom God restored the gospel, and I can testify that the Book of Mormon is true. All who read it and pray for a testimony will receive it. – Lebem Sparks, Bowen, Col.

Dear Brethren: My education is so limited that I felt embarrassed to attempt this. I can’t always feel strong; at times I can declare I know the gospel is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of god, then I get weak and can only say I believe it. The reason I know it, it has been made so plain and the evidence is so strong. – J.W. Grissom, Toomsboro, Ga.

My testimony is that I know the Book of Mormon is a true record of the ancient inhabitants of this continent, and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet sent of God to bring it to light. I do rejoice in the goodness of God. – Helen Mar Mattox, Argyle, Ga.

I have been a Baptist and a Methodist but was never able to explain why I was either. I have belonged to the “Mormon” church about 14 years, and am able to tell why. I know Moroni’s words were true when he said we may know for ourselves if these things are true. If you want to be saved you must be baptized by one in authority, and have hands laid on you for the reception of the Holy Ghost. The Book of Mormon is true. Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. In my own house I saw a child apparently near death, administered to and in a few minutes it seemed to be well. – G.H. O’Bannon, Dresden, Ind.

I can say with a clear conscience that I know the gospel is true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. The stone Daniel saw cut out of the mountain without hands is now rolling through the earth. The gospel as taught by the “Mormons” is this stone. – Chas. Flinchum, Jackson, Ky.
Mississippi.
I can bear my testimony that the Book of Mormon is true, that the gospel is true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 10 years. – Miss Arty Glimers, Truett, Miss.

Study and prayer, reason and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit tell me the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. Before applying for baptism I felt the message of Joseph Smith to be of Godly origin, but the feeling that rested upon me while being confirmed is dearer to me than any vision could be. – Miss Mary B. Wykoff, Elmwood Farms, Cream Ridge, N.J.
