  1. I can’t decide if the “Heffner” misspelling makes them less credible as journalists in general, or more credible as people with a particularly Mormon focus.

    With an ad this suggestive, maybe I should clarify that I only read Dialogue for the articles.

  2. Speaking of Dialogue, it stands as changing point in the LDS narrative and deserves its own published descriptive history regarding influence to a culture and a church.

  3. How does one get through a picture magazine and read articles without seeing the pictures? How can anyone discover the quality of the articles without losing the spirit required to truly see their virtue or lack thereof.

  4. Years ago, a colleague who shared my interest in baseball told me of a good Playboy article about baseball. A month or two later, I happened to be at his house, but had forgotten about the conversation. He handed me a magazine folded back and open to an article about baseball. I turned several pages before I got an eyeful.

    But it is true: Playboy does have excellent articles.
