I always enjoy the day off in February, but I’m sure I’ve never gone shopping for Presidents’ day decorations. I guess I know where to get them, should the need arise.

My family moved to the Washington, DC area in December of 2004. An ad on one of the local radio stations kept promising that a certain dress shop could supply “all your inaugural needs.” Since my inaugural needs never extended beyond a bag of chips, I never visited the store.
