Faith
By Claire Stewart Boyer
If God had faith in frail, unstable man,
Subject to passions and misleading dreams,
Subject to fears and doubts and idols false,
Subject to vile, satanic beckonings;
Surely we cannot lose our faith in Him,
Him who has stood the test of time and storms,
Him who alone has kept the heaven bright –
Him who has promised us Eternity.
