I infer from the letterhead that most travelers to this part of the world spoke English, German, or Hebrew (Yiddish?) I would bet that held true for most pre-war immigrants as well.
That would be my guess — and I would also guess that Muslim/Arab travelers would have chosen hotels among their own people.
