Whatever it takes, Jeannine, whatever it takes!
I would like to start with the toddlers.
I have seen many bound journals, but never one in a binding made specifically for a single journal nor number. I imagine this, at least the leather bound version as being highly tooled. Makes me want to get one, but WITH the journals inside, not just the cover.
Very fascinating.
I remember growing up that my dad had me build boxes to store his Ensigns in. He has every single one on the shelf in his office.
We would cut a laundry soap box to the right shape, and then cover it with contact paper. kept the magazines organized by year. I wonder if he still keeps them all…
With us, it was cereal boxes and contact paper. I’m visiting my parents and I just checked. There are still 10 feet of shelves with old church magazines neatly boxed. But I know my mom got rid of the Children’s Friends a while back, saving only our favorite stories in a binder.
Bookbinding is my dad’s hobby. He use to bind volumes of Liahona. (Actually I’m not sure if any of the volumes he bound were yet titled Liahona, but anyway.)
