The Juvenile Instructor of 1 December 1910 was filled with errors. How many can you find? (Please limit yourself to two or three to give latecomers a chance to play — later in the day, feel free to point out as many as you want to.)

A magic floating flower pot!
And slave child.
Elinor’s tea pot/kettle pouring on the table.
Banana splits at 2 cents, come on that is wrong.
Missing chair leg and different shoes on the girls on the right.
Maybe that chain isn’t an error. That girl on the left looks kind of shifty.
Roller skates on the girl standing up and the creature (cat? rat? rabbit? rodent hybrid?) drinking through a straw
Floating table as well.
Nobody is sweating.
The curtains are either erroneous or eclectic.
Sodas for $10? What is this–a hospital?
And they couldn’t spell banana in 1910 either.
Shifty girl’s soda has a dripping spigot on the side.
Girl on the left has different socks…although this may have been trendsetting rather than an error.
How about the girl on the right sitting on what must be a terribly uncomfortable one-legged stool?
I believe the girl on the right wandered in accidentally from a Renoir painting in which she was rolling a hoop.
Flowers growing from a hole in the table.
Shackled girl has one short sleeve and one long sleeve.
all this time and no-one mentioned the hole in the floor?
It gets harder to identify those last errors, doesn’t it Coffinberry, when you have to check to see whether anybody else has seen it. Thanks!
Girl on left is preparing to brush her teeth.
Also, the soda sign is hanging up.
The two halves of the bow on the Renoir girl are different — one side is dark dots on a white background, while the other side is white dots on a dark background. The pattern of the dress of the standing girl appears to be different above and below the apron. I’ll let those with a better sense of fashion decide if these are errors.
The hands on the girl with the toothpaste are not the same. Is that a glove on her left hand? No thumb on her right hand?
Man, you have good eyes, Jim! I hadn’t seen that glove!
Not only is the dress different top and bottom, the pattern on the skirt is different left to right.
Girl on the left – her right shoe is buttoned on the wrong side. Leaves on plant seem to be from different plants but the blossoms are the same (but I’m not a botonist). Finally, each girl seems to have one eye abundantly lashed while the other eye not so much, might this be the cause of their unsettling stares?
Girl on right appears to have something on her skirt that to me looks like a baby shark that would be sliding down were it not for its horizontal orientation. Can anyone identify what it might be? I thought it might be a ribbon, but the shape is not right and it does not appear to be where I would expect it to be, as say tied around her waist.
Collar of center girl is unevenly sized. I finally see why Last Lemming commented on the lack of sweat. Right on top and yet totally hidden by our expectations. This is one subtle puzzle!
Y’all have certainly made it a FUN puzzle!
Is there an official solution?
