Lights
By Cristel Hastings
I love lights that shine through rain,
Candle-glow through window-pane –
Stars that etch the silvered way,
Moonbeams playing on the hay!
I love lights that quiver through
Trees that are a shadowed blue –
Fireflies that seek the skies –
And the light deep in your eyes!

Beautiful imagery. I’m enjoying the poetry more and more. Thank you, Ardis.
Thanks for that, charlene — some of it is good, all of it is our heritage, and it’s rewarding to read it together.
