Provo’s first seminary building was dedicated in 1927. The building still stands at 300 West 100 South, near the site of Provo’s first high school.

Any idea what it’s used for today? (That’s only a few blocks of the new temple, right?)
No idea. And although I must have walked past it a hundred times to go to the post office, I can’t remember ever noticing it.
According to Google Maps, it looks like Rocketship, an “industrial design and product development firm,” is located there.
Thanks, Tim. The things we can learn when somebody knows his way around Google Maps!
It’s great for correcting horrific place-name spelling on FamilySearch when I want to find out exactly where my ancestors came from. And sometimes I can even get a good look at the church they were christened in and worshipped in two hundred years ago. Great tool.
