  1. Ok, that took some figuring out for a minute… the last page is Joseph F Smith’s children, sorted by the various wives.

  2. There is no mention of Joseph F. Smith’s first wife Levira Smith who was his first cousin.

    She became disenchanted with plural marriage and had other issues in her relationship with Joseph F. Smith. They were divorced and she moved to California. They had no children

  3. I wonder where they got the name “Charles Coulson.” Back in 1970, Charles “Chuck” Coulson was serving as Counsel to the President (Nixon, that is). He was convicted for obstruction of justice in connection with the Watergate scandal, served several months in prison, converted to evangelical Christianity and spent the rest of his life in ministry, particularly to prisoners.

    (None of this has anything to do with the Smith family, but the name caught my eye.)

  4. That was C. C. Rich’s name. I don’t know if there was another Charles Coulson before that.

  5. No wonder he went by his initials–he didn’t want to be confused with the Nixon-era criminal!

  8. I actually met a bunch of Edward Arthur descendants last week, and found out a number of new things that we previously didn’t know.
