Communion at Midnight
By Lizabeth Wall
For a little quiet while
Let there be no one around;
Let not any footstep fall,
Nor a breath, nor sudden sound.
Let there be no snapping twig
Nor a rustling anywhere.
White-starred moments such as this
Only God and I must share.

Love this – both the sentiment and the way it’s said.
Wonderful poetry to convey for us night owls.
