Below is a list of Keepa’s 100 most-viewed posts of 2014. Some things I notice:

1. My own favorites are not necessarily reader favorites. (boo)
2. Reader favorites include many, many guest posts. (yay)
3. Promotion by other, more popular internet sites really racks up the page views.
4. I have no idea why #3, a post about the 1960 Chilean earthquake, is so popular; almost any time of the day or night, week in, week out, when I check Keepa’s stats page somebody is reading that post.
5. I really need to update some posts (how to get a copy of a lost patriarchal blessing, how to get a priesthood line of authority), since so many Googlers are seeking that information, and my old posts are outdated.
6. Many of these higher-ranked posts are “popular” among Googlers, not necessarily Keepa’ninnies – the surprisingly high ranking of Gospel Doctrine outlines is certainly due to teachers looking for ideas; the ever-popular marijuana post is due to pro-pot bloggers copying the pro-pot post I responded to; wistful Postum lovers far beyond Keepa are seeking sources of supply …
7. That posts from previous years can still be among the most viewed probably says something complimentary about Keepa.
