  1. This used to be the kind of things that we gave for talks in Junior Sunday School. We would memorize some little thing–it wasn’t always about scripture–and recite it at the microphone. No parents whispering in our ear or even leaving their class to come listen. As we got older, we would tell (not read) longer stories and sometimes hold up the picture.

    That’s what this makes me think of.
